Asian Ball Jointed Dolls for beginner?

I wanted to know what I should do if I'm a 14-year-old and has a craving for these Asian Ball Jointed Dolls (ABJDs/BJDs). I obviously can't get the money easily, but what can I do to start up? Is there a cheaper place to buy them? )= Thanks!

Volks/Dollfie is pretty pricey, but you can find Obitsu on eBay fairly reasonable.  Many Obitsu bodies include hands and feet, and several different necks to accomodate a variety of heads, including Volks.
