Iran fought brilliantly in the second half to beat Pakistan 17-16 in the first semifinal of the 16th Asian Games Kabaddi Tournament here on Thursday. Pakistan were unbeaten prior to semifinal as they won all three group matches in the competition. Pakistan started off well and were leading the first half 7-4 but failed to hold their nerves in the second half. Iran, who lost to India in their group match, played well in the second half and took the second half 13-9. Iran will now face India in the final on Friday (today). India faced no problems in beating Japan 52-17 in the other semifinal.
