can you get like jasmine rice or Asian rice (sticky rice) from wal-mart or krogers.

Yeah you can, but usually it's expensive and they only have tiny bags of rice.  The quality and selection isn't as good either

You can get imatations from the supermarket, but it doesn't taste as good as what you can by at the Asian Market.

In NYC, Japanese rices are only sell at Japanese grocery markets.
