Taiwan's President Ma Ying-jeou called for restraint against 'irrational' behavior after anti-Korean protests erupted last week in Taiwan over the disqualification of a Taiwanese taekwondo athlete at the Asian Games. Last Wednesday martial artist Yang Shu-chun was disqualified during a taekwondo match after she was accused of having extra sensors in her socks. The technician who reportedly discovered the sensors which are used to register kicks was a Korean national.
