Question:

Asian style loose fitting trousers (India/Pakistan)?

PLEASE give answers, to this genuine question, only from the U.K. or from India or Pakistan .

I have been thinking about buying an old grandfather a few pairs of inexpensive, colourful, very loose fitting trousers, that are so often worn by elderly Asian men, in their homes. (The waist is either elasticated or has a draw cord.)

What is the name for these type of trousers?

Where can they be bought in the UK or from where can they be imported from in India or Pakistan and what do they usually cost?

(As I am only needing three pairs, will it be difficult, if I want to buy directly from India or Pakistan, or should I stick to Asian shops in the U.K.?)

Hope someone can help me.
