Asian themed bedroom with blue and silver?

Question

I really wanted an oriental themed bedroom, but I found a star mirror and ended up changing my mind to a night sky theme.

I found some great dark blue satin sheets and a sheer silver quilt, but when I think of painting the walls for the night sky theme, I draw a blank.

I love the bedding that I bought, so I was trying to figure out if there was any way I could incorporate an asian theme with dark blue and silver.

Any ideas as to how I should paint my walls?

My bedroom is on the third floor, so it's very large with five windows that bring in a lot of light.

I know asian themes typically bring to mind rich reds, golds, and maybe some purple, and I'm not opposed to doing something like that, either, but I love the silver and blue bedding that I bought.

sorry dear but silver and blue are hard colors to make into an Asian theme, but they would make for a great mid evil theme or harem style

I think if you paint your whole bedroom a dark blue, you will regret it. It will make your room feel smaller and more closed in. Why not try a silver color paint on the walls, with one wall in dk. blue as your focal point. You could also pick up the dark blue in your accent colors, like pillows, sheets, curtains, etc.

It sounds like a really beautiful idea..I would suggest silver pieces around the room, like hardware, silver or chrome k***s for your dresser, etc.
