I'm not talking about Crosby, Malkin, Ovechkin, etc..., or those on their way like Sundin, Thornton, Federov, etc...

I'm asking for those guys who are capable.

I'll start it off...Ollie Jokinen

  1. I'm thinking about Rod Brind'amour. He quietly gets the job

done night in night out. Oh yeah, he also has a cup.

  2. Maybe Chris Osgood or Niklas Backstrom could be HOF goalies. They're are great, but aren't big names. Both are goalies (I included that because you might be thinking of Nicklas Backstrom of the Washington Capitals).

  3. Once a person has a hall of fame career they become a big name. There are very few mistakes in the hall.

  4. If he keeps it up, Johan Franzen of the Wings.

    And yeah, Kronwall.

I'm also hoping that from his training and help from Datsyuk, Valtteri Filppula can get better and better and become great. Many people compared him to Zetterberg, and that he looks like what Zetterberg looked like at his age (24)

  5. Mike Richards, Kris Letang, Sam Gagner. I would say Alexander Kotalik is a good bet to having an amazing career sa well.

  6. Just due to his age and already having playoff experience, Carey Price has all of the tools and a fabled franchise behind him.  Likewise, MAF has a shot.  A final goalie with an outside shot would be Ilya Bryzgalov; he turned around Phoenix into at least a competitive team.

As far as forwards go, I could possibly see Mike Richards, Shane Doan, and Paul Statsny.  For D-Men, I could see Brian Campbell and Mike Green.

  7. CAREY PRICE:d

  8. Kovalev

  9. Mike Richards, and the other Jokenin.. Uci, idk how to spell his first name

  10. Larraque, the Pens enforcer.

  11. How about Bertuzzi?

I don't see him ever getting in or getting his name on the cup...

  12. Brandon Dubinsky!!  (I kid, I kid... I hope he does though).

How about Sergei Zubov?  He's not a big name (well, he's not a HUGE name.  I don't usually hear about him in HOF questions.) but maybe if it's a weak year... over 750 points, a few cups...

thetbach... you mean Jussi Jokinen?  I don't know... I don't see him being HOF material.

  13. if backstrom keeps playing with AO, theres a real good chance he will have the numbers to get in.

  14. Ollie Jokinen is a good choice, I'd also say Brind'Amour. He's borderline vet on his way out who will probably make it though, so he might not qualify for the non big name thing....

If Tim Thomas keeps playing the way he has this season, He's got a real shot. Same with Nabokov, though he probalby qualifies as big name.

Rick Nash- again borderline big name, but any guy who might make a HOF career is going to be pretty well known.

Greg- I'm pretty sure Zubov will get in. If not the first year of eligibility, the next. Very strong career.
