Well, I'm TTC but I have some kind of abscess or something near my jaw/cheek area. Anyway... my appt to get it checked out can't be until at least the 29th, I bd for the last time with hubby before he left state midday the 24th, I don't know when I ovulate (bd occured on the 12th, 13th, 17th, and 18th days of my cycle and I run 32 to 40 days).

My point is... one I'm curious to know and I heard a blood test can be right a day after implantation, and two, I don't know what kind of medications I might need to treat the abscess and if they'd have any effect on TTC.

I for sure though am going to tell my doctor there is a possibility I might be pregnant but should I specifically ask for a blood test?

  1. your body does not start making the hcg hormone until after implantation so i would say get a blood test maybe 4 days after implantation the hcg level doubles every 2 days ie  2,4,8,16,32,64 etc and after the blood will find it over 5 the doctor will say it is positive
