Question:

Asked to Replace and Existing File?

I went on a trip this weekend, and started to upload all the photos I took when I got home. I plugged in my camera to my computer using the cord. I previewed all the pictures and deleted a couple before I selected to move them from the camera's memory card to 'my pictures'. I then made another new folder and decided to do some more moving around. I was asked if I would like to replace an existing file then accidentally hit "yes to all" now I can't find half the pictures from my great trip! Someone please tell me where they are and how to get them back. **Please don't suggest the recycle bin, I've already been over that with a fine tooth comb. Please let me know if you need any more information. :D

  1. I'm sorry to tell you this but once you replace a file (doesn't matter if its a picture or any other format) the old ones are gone forever. I hope you did not deleted them from your camera, cause that's the only way to get them again. If not- I'm sorry again. I've lost some pictures like that myself and I know it s***s. Good luck
