What is it that Blown Instruments are called WoodWind Instruments Since it is not made up of Wood, it is made up of metals???

Wood wind instruments were originally made of wood.  With the addition of keys and the development of materials meal became used more.  Many high quality woodwinds are still primarily wood.

I think it is cause they use reeds but not the flute!!!!

Not all of them are called woodwind instruments, mostly blown instruments are in the brass category.
