  1. Hi, heres what I found for the two places you named.

Foley Depot and Museum - Foley, Alabama

The Louisville and Nashville once had a branch that ran south from Bay Minette to Foley, Alabama. In paying tribute to the L&N, the city has perserved the station along with a couple freight cars and a caboose.

Gulf, Mobile and Ohio GP35 - Mobile, Alabama

"The GM&0 GP-35 is #631, and it is parked at Frascati Shops, Inc. These are the former Gulf, Mobile & Northern (GM&N) shops of the same name now owned and operated by Clark Hall, a former GM&O employee. The engine is owned by the GM&O Historical Society and is in near-operating condition, lacking only a turbocharger to be fully operational (unfortunately, a rather large ticket item). Mr. Hall welcomes visitors - he only asks that you come during operating hours, check in at the office (in an original building of the Mobile, Jackson, & Kansas City, the first predecessor of the GM&N), and be careful. The engine is parked between the office and the actual car repair facility, so it is possible to get close without interfering with the car shop operation."

It doesn't appear that either of these have actual train rides though. but I found some in Alabama that do and put the links at the bottom so y'all could check them out ok? I hope this helps or gives you some good ideas so you can take'em to ride some trains!
