Asking mom w/o sounding pushy?

Well i asked my mom if she would buy a costume of of eBay for me for Halloween. She said she would think about it. How do ask her if she has come to a decision or not w/o sounding pushy?

Do it in a 'creative' way.

But not in person.

Put little notes around the house.

Like in her medicine cabinet put a little note saying "I would look so good in that costume!"

and maybe in the car.

That way you're asking, and reminding her, but not sounding too pushy!
