Asking opinion on pay for what I do...?

Iget paid $40 per day for 9yr old and 6 yr old both special needs kids. I have 9 yr old 2 hrs am and 2 hrs pm. I have 6 yr old 1day per week for 10 hours and the other 4 days 1 hr am and 6-7 hrs pm. I go to their house, do dishes, some laundry. Very flexible to their neds and haven't missed any regular days in over a year. I do get the bonus of bringing my son with me when I need to. what do you all think? Do I get paid enough for what I do??

You probably don't get paid enough, but when you look at how much money you are saving by bringing your own child to work with you, you are doing quite well. Think about how hard it would be to find a job that you could do that. However, you should get regular raises just like everyone else and it would be reasonable to ask for it.

Sorry, I would ask for more. You are not only baby sitting there is probably more involved because they are special needs children and plus you are also being their house maid.  That is two jobs.

I don't think your are getting paid enough if the parents would have to put their kids in a special school for the time that you are with them then they would have to pay alot more money for them so i would ask for a little more money
