What is your favourite city to visit in Britain and why?

  1. Durham ... the cathedral is the best in the country (the best cafe is the one in the cathedral by the way), the castle is picturesque and still being used (it's accommodation for university students, they do tours round some of it) ... it's clean, very picturesque (built on seven hills around the River Wear) and bursting with history and charm ... the locals are so friendly ... it's also got one of the best universities in the country too ... here's some photos

    PS:

    if you want to visit, one of the best ways is by train because you get a panoramic view of the city from up at the railway station, also there's a useful Hoppa bus runs from the station round the city and up to the cathedral which makes your visit very easy


  2. I'm from London, and the only other City I've ever been to in England is Coventry lol. i liked it there though, i visited the cathedral and there are lots of sights to see, it had a good history there (lots of things about the black death). So I'd have to say Coventry =)

  3. Glasgow, as it has amazing nightlife, as well as great museums, parks, culture, etc in the daytime too!
