Question:

Asking this sub question again.. how should i put them?

they are going in the trunk of my cavalier. its two 8 inch subs. with the right amp, they will sound good. but do i place the speaker box towards the front or face them to the back? mount them to the back of my seats so i can fold them down when no one is in the back. or have them lying flat in the trunk? i need help. im not that smart with speakers.

  1. if the sound inside the car is more important to you face them away from you because the most of the bass comes from the back of the box

    but if you want it to make your car shake and get peoples attention  face the subs toward you so the bass will hit your trunk


  2. have them in a box facing your truck it sounds the best dont point them forward and don't fold down your seat it wont sound as good

  3. for best results (if you are going to be folding the seat down sometimes or not) is to have the back of the box close to the back of the rear seats with the subs facing back- away from you

    when you fold down the seat it will hit harder inside and outside and it will help to keep everything a little cooler
