Can be hard because of the European Union.  If you have specialized skills you might have luck.  I am an engineer and I got offers for some interviews in the UK.  Try looking at websites for recruiters in the UK.  One good one is Beresford, Blake and Thomas (sp?).

I don't know about France's immigration laws, but to work here in the UK you will need to apply to the Home Office for permission to live and work here. You can find out more at http://ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/workingint... but be assured that it is not just a case of hopping on a place, renting a house and sending out a few copies of your CV to potential employers.
