Aspartame in gum toxic?

i chew extra gum but lately i have researched aspartame, and its like poison. now what im wondering is when you swallow the stuff its bad but when you chew it in gum (for me EXTRA) does it have the same effects as swallowing it.

Artificial sweeteners such as aspartame are far worse for you than the killer sugar table sugar and the less of those artificial sweeteners you consume the better.  No aspartame is much better than even small amounts.
