I am currently diagnosed with asperger syndrome. My fine motor skills and oragization skills are not quite as good as they should be.

What are some learning tips for me, I am home schooled and mainly look information up on the computer and read library books. I’m in 8th grade and I want to be prepared for a very hard online high school curriculum (keystonenationalhighschool).

Any library book or website suggestions?

(Course list for 9th grade, Algebra 1, Grammar and Composition, Sociology, Chemistry, Spanish and Fitness for life)

thank you

  1. Ignore the child who wrote nasty insults.  She's got some problems obviously.

My son has Asperger's and is in grade 9 now.  We don't do an online school though.

As long as you do your work assignments as soon as they are given to you and don't let yourself goof off you should be fine.

  2. I just did a search in Yahoo Groups and there are 12 groups that are about homeschooling with Asperger Syndrome.

    I searched on "homeschool aspergers"

You might have better luck getting input from one of these groups.

  3. Wow, you are doing very well.  Keep up with the studying and  you will be okay at 9th grade level.  Library books sound like a wonderful preparation for your online high school curriculum.  The learning tip I can give you is keep up to date with your assignments and take each day as it comes. Remember to study each school day as the regularity and commitment are essential.
