  1. Also, as I understand it psychopaths usually get a kick out of other people's suffering or being able to control others. Some people with Asperger's (which these days is a lable given to many "weird" kids) or autism are not aware of the thoughts/perceptions of others, so I would imagine that they would not be likely to become a psychopath.

  2. Roughly 2 in 10000 children, perhaps higher.

  3. In the UK the figure is around 1 in 100 people who have Asperger syndrome. Just because they lack empathy does not mean they do not know right from wrong, so in the vast majority of cases they are very unlikely to become a psychopath.

  4. Not really, not any more than anyone else, that's a different area of the brain.

  5. The chance of having a child classified as having Autism (Aspergers being on the spectrum) is 1 in a 150.  There tends to be more male children that exhibit Autistic Characteristics than females, but it is possible to have a female child on the spectrum.

As far as them becoming psychopaths, there are no studies to my knowledge that show it is a relevant concern.  Children that have Asperger's Syndrome, with the correct help and therapies, often become great contributors to society.  Not all children with Asperger's fail to show empathy or caring either.

As for Psychopath type behavior/disorder, there is a correlation between children not forming attachment or a healthy bond with caregivers within 9 months of birth.  If this happens the likely hood of a psychopathic type personality diagnosis often increases.
