Have you been able to form intimate relationships? Or has the disorder made you a hard core loner? I am more of the loner myself, so I wouldn't mind reading the range of answers myself.

  1. I have never had an actual relationship, no friends or anything, and I am also asexual so I have no interest in girls.  It really doesn't bother me much because I can't stay committed to anyone anyway because others expectations are too stressful.

  2. I have been in one intimate relationship and it has lasted almost 7 years so far. I'm pretty much of a loner, but I accidentally got to know another loner and it turned out we were good for each other, so we've been together ever since. I wouldn't call us very intimate anymore though, not in the way most people think of intimacy at least, but we're happy together.

  3. I am a 19 year old who is most likely an Aspie and by now I have been doing pretty well with hanging out with friends and actually having conversations with them, but as far as intimate relationships, I haven't even been on a date before. Romance is still too confusing for me to handle, at least while I'm still in school.

  4. Hey Biff, it's a *****.  I have it and am told its related to a number of other disorders.  You brought back memories about before I was married, yeah, it can be a solo trip.  I finally gave in and found a good psy who put me on medication, thank God.  Been happily married for twelve years now.  Don't give up hope.  Mean Mike
