Aspirin Question: Took 3 Pills

Question

I accidentally took three pills of aspirin, and lets just say I am not feeling so good.

I know taking pills depends on body weight, or something similar to that concept, but I was wondering if I should throw up, instead of fighting it, to feel better?

I weigh around 120, if that helps.

don't throw up, you'll be fine. It probably wasn't even extra strength. It's all in your head.

Nope. Three pills of aspirin isn't enough to hurt anyone who isn't an alcoholic or have a blood-gushing ulcer in their stomach. Or isn't 3 years old.

Throwing up won't help, the drug's already out of your stomach and in your blood stream. You can try taking an antacid like TUMS to relieve some of the stomach upset. NSAIDs like aspirin and ibuprofen can upset the secretion of mucus in the stomach, which makes some people feel like throwing up. The more you take, the more likely it is to happen.
