yep, most Pot office it closes at 1pm on a saturday, but you can check out the times for your local post office on the post office website

It varies depending on the area.Smaller PO's are open for a few hours in the morning, then close about 12pm.Our small village one keeps the counter open for newspapers, lottery tickets and sweets only after this time.They are open until 7pm.

Post offices without a lottery terminal close at half 12 but camelot want all post offices with a lottery terminal to stay open to as close to half 7 as possible... though this wont be happening just yet!

It all depends on the Post Office owner. The three in my town are open at diferent times on a Sat. One closes at 5pm. One closes at 12.30 and yet another is not open at all

most PO in the UK are open. The main ofifces are open til 5pm (for the lottery etc). However your local PO will probably close around 12.30 to 1.

Not all of them open on Saturdays and many of those that do close at lunchtime.

Most post offices are open on saturday morning, and it usually is the busiest time to visit a post office as most people can't get there during the week.

My local Post Office on saturdays is usually rammed with eBayers. Personally I don't post on a saturday as I'm not willing to waste 30minutes of my time queuing.

Some post offices are also open on sunday if they are part of another store, though this is far from usual.

It's fair to say that ALL of them are open until 1pm on Satursdays. The large Post Offices in most town/city centres are open ALL DAY.
