Assassin's creed only detects 1 of my cores?

I am launching the detect tools in assassin creed, and it says I have only 1 cpu, when I have a dual-core e-2160.

I am running it on WinXP.

Can anyone help me please?

There are no games currently out that run on and are optimized for dual or quad core computers.  There are a couple in developement, but nothing for retail at this time.  

This does not mean your computer suffers at all.  While Assassins Creed is using the one core, your windows and other process are using the second core.
