Question:

Assassins Creed and 320GB HDD PS3 60GB?

I have an original 60GB UK PS3 with BC and 4 usb's blah blah

I have just installed the Western Digital Scorpio 2.5 Inch 320GB HDD.

However, now, when I try and play Assassins Creed, the Ps3 will crash when loading. To the best of my knowledge, this is not happening with other games.

It has been perfect, apart from my UK PS accessing the American PS site instead of the European site, which was slightly bizzare after playing GT5 Prologue(which is a UK PAL copy.)

Could anyone offer any advice? Is it my Ps3 firmware? or is it Assassins creed? Ive never had ANY troubles withmy ps3 nor the 60GB hard drive. Now it seems that assassins creed wont play.

Im guna reformat the hard drive and use the backup facility again. Any other info would be great?

  1. Does it install, so do you need to delete the game data and reinstall from the disc?

  2. It doesn't matter. Assassins Creed sucks. Bad.

  3. Did you buy the disc from the region that you brought your ps3 from. For example american disc's do not play in europe. I have read from the official website about the 2.40 firmware doing this to people's ps3's (only claims to that of the 60gb system) that's why the new firmware 2.42 has been released to fix this problem if you haven't installed the 2.40 I'm not sure then.
