whats the range of time that some one can do for this crime in texas?

  1. It would be my guess that it depends on the injuries received.

    If we're talking "near death" injuries...then you can imagine some serious jail time.

    In most cases I've seen a stiff fine, court costs, restitution for medical expenses and some pain and suffering!

    Probation in lieu of any jail sentence.

Assault causing bodily harm to anyone can get you a long stretch in prison or minimal time.  It all depends on what the assault details are, how much injury was caused, the suspect's criminal record, and the mood of the judge the day of sentencing.  Sorry, but your question simply cannot be answered with any accuracy.  You will gets numerous opinions, but opinions is all they are.  Cheers!!
