Assembly Help!?

Does anyone have tips on using snail connectors? I am trying to put together an etagerie (that cabinet that is designed to fit over the toilet) but the snail connectors keep falling out. This happens every time I use a snail connector. Please help!

I think cam locks are the same as your snail connectors.  Here is a video
