Assembly question for tissue box cover

Question

I'm making a cat tissue box cover. The cat's head attacthes to the top front of the cover. Instructions say to glue or sew but don't say glue with what( elmer's or hot glue gun?) or how to sew it on (with floss or yarn from front or back) I just can't see how to attach it. Could someone help me.

without seeing it it's kinda hard to tell, but I would probably just glue it on. I would use hot glue or some kind of super glue, I don't think elmers would hold up. Hope it helps. Good Luck,
