  1. Agricultural technology has to do with the way crops and livestock are produced and brought to market. Here a two examples to get you started:

    U.S.

    Fields prepared with tractors

Crops planted & harvested by machine

Grain delivered to grain elevators by truck

Grain shipped to factories by train

    China

    Fields prepared with Oxen

Crops planted & harvested by hand

Grains delivered to distributor by horse and cart

Grain shipped to factories by truck or boat

Industrial Technology can be compared the same way, but is less specific that Agricultural Technology. The industrial technology of the U.S. is advanced and highly mechanized/efficient. The industrial technology of China is developing, less mechanized, and inefficient.

    Luck.

  2. Technology in agriculture in more developed countries include machinery used to farm such as tractors, combine harvesters, sprayers, etc.  It includes the availability of fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides, improved seeds etc. Also infrastructure such as roads, railroads, and airports to aid in the marketing of their product.  Farmers have a good source of finical institutions of borrow money necessary  to put their crops in.  They have the opportunity to get a good education and have good agriculture extension to get the new technology to them.

In under developed countries this technology is simply not available to the farmers.  Most farming is done by hand, many farmers still use the slash and burn for fertility.  They lack proper roads and transportation to get their crops to market.  The technology is there it is just out of reach finical to most farmers.  India is sort of an unusual choice for this assignment because it is about in the middle of the two extremes.  Some farmers have and use the modern technology, while some still farm by hand.

As far as industrial technology, it must go hand in hand with agriculture.  The industries have to be there to produce the machinery, roads, pesticides, etc.  Developed countries have this industrial technology, underdeveloped countries don't, or have them in limited amounts.
