Assignment on backgammon?

can anyone help me the little boy i tutor has to explain how it is a relaxing game, i really need help, argh. please help. he is only 8 so it doesnt have to be to much in detail just a few lines. 2 minute talk. :) thank you .

It is a good atmosphere to hang out and relaxing to play it. Mix food, drinks, and good conversations.

Escape--as much as anything, backgammon is a way for me to completely escape from everything else in my life. Not that I don't love my life, but it's wonderful to do something that forces you to become totally immersed and engaged and keeps you from thinking about anything else...and that's pretty much what I have to do to play my best, and I suspect that's true for most people.
