  1. You need to apply for social security for your child.  He or she should be entitled to monthly payments until age 18.  Check out their website:

    www.ssa.gov

You'll be able to find your local office and apply for monthly payments.

  2. go and apply for welfare and social security for the kids i am sorry for your loss was your child's daddy in the military?

  3. Social Security...Insurance...Inheritence...you may apply for assistence if you are low income??

Sorry for you and your childrens loss.....my mother was murdered when I was 4 and it still hurts today and I am pushing 30...make sure your kids get counseling...

  4. Social Security takes care of the child until they turn 18 and even until they graduate college  but they have to go to college once they turn 18 to receive the money.

  5. Get in touch with the county. They'll be able to help you. With any luck, they'll offer some counselling for you child. That's what my mom did when my dad died. I'm so sorry for the loss. Take care.

  7. Children receive Social Security Survivor benefits until 18.
