Associates Degree in Nursing to BSN?

ok... if i graduate with my associates degree and then i want to have my BSN... can i transfer some of my credits to universities offering BSNs?? or will i start over from the bottom???

  1. Many of the people I work with that have chosen to go back for their BSN have had their ASN credits transfered.


  2. like most everything else, that depends.

    ask your new school if they will accept your credits from the old

    school.

    if your associates degree was, for instance, from a technical

    school then most colleges/universities will not transfer any

    credits.  if it was from a college, then some or all might be

    accepted.
