Do I have any chance of travelling to space thru any Space Agency ( NASA or anything)?

  1. You'd be more likely to get into space (as a passenger) by simply paying NASA a bunch of money.

    If you want to get into space as a professional astronaut, you should start by getting a pilot's license.


  2. sure, many people with B.S. degrees in engineering work for NASA. although the job market is now more competitive, requiring graduate degrees

  3. You can get into NASA,only if you are a US citizen!!

  4. You're on the right path, but my advice would be to join either the airforce or navy as a pilot. You need 1000 hours of experience flying a jet aircraft in order to be an astronaut commander or pilot (e.g. the guys who fly the shuttle and do space walks).

    Edit: I've just looked at astronaut Michael Foale's biography. Clearly not every astronaut needs to have a military aviation background, but Foale was obviously a brilliant academic and worked for NASA prior to becoming a fully-fledged astronaut.
