i understand what you are saying. i dont really know if it was an "own goal" but i think there is somthing not right about it. i dont think it would happen again but if it did i dont think we could do anything to prevent it.

If it is neo-con staged, yes we would let it happen again.  Neo-Cons believe anything so you could fool them again with a stage terrorist act.  They probably still believe there are weapons of mass destruction somewhere in Iraq.  If they found out their dog was a terrorist, there would be one less dog in this world.

By "we" I don't know what you are talking about.  It wasn't my goal as an American citizen for the US to be attacked. Would it happen again? There is nothing I can do about it. I don't have anything capable of shooting a gun out of the sky. The military is the only group that can control the air space. I am not in the military.

This wasn't the first time that the 'own goal' was achieved by American politics...so, in essence, Americans already have.

so you think we staged these attacks and would allow it to happen again. stop drinking the kool aid, if you remember president reagan he attacked libya for terrorist attacks and they have been quiet so far. bush has stopped more attacks on our soil and if i was the president, using the war powers act, i would turn that pile of sand called iraq into a sheet of glass(a couple of strategic nukes would do the trick) as far as afghanistan well  we cant bomb it back to the stone age because it is already there. so do the comparison, would you want bush or me.
