  1. I don't really know the Mannings although I respect the accomplishment of the sons.

I'll take Tiger's dad, because his devotion and hard work produced such great results. It seems taht Tiger was very close to his father.

  2. Being a father to any exceptional athlete should make anyone proud. I think it would be equally honorable.

  3. The only reason that I'll take the Mannings is because there is both two brothers that communicate well together. I think that it adds to the family atmosphere. Also I believe that it is a little tougher for a guy to keep a team focused on winning the Superbowl from the start of the year then it is to go out and demolish the competition in a  golf tournament as Tiger has done. I believe now that all the pressure is no longer on Tiger at all but the people leading going into the final round because if Tiger is close they hear the footsteps.

Anyways If I was a dad I would be proud of all three. They show us class in sports is not dead.

  4. Mannings

  5. Tiger is poised to become the first sports billionaire- based on that alone, I'd be Tiger's dad.

    cocky, or not, that's F U money!

  6. I dont like the Mannings, over rated.  Tiger has his game on smash ALL BY HIMSELF, meanwhile both Manning (both) need their enitre team of 20+ players to help them look just a lil better than the other QB's, hands down.

  7. I think I would be papa Manning.  Woods is a great talent but seems a bit too cocky for me.  The Mannings are great athletes with good looking futures after football.  Plus, if you throw in the oldest son, Cooper and his children, I'd be d**n proud of all three.

  8. how could you not be proud to be the father of either then again my son is a junior in high school and got mvp of the varsity golf team and proud to be his dad

  9. I'd take the Mannings, although Tigers no slouch. I don't think I could watch 12-18 golf tourny's wire to wire every year; I could (and do), on the other hand watch 36+ football games per year. Especially if the majority of them are live (free).

  10. Neither.  I'd rather be me.

  11. I'll take Tiger's Dad only because what his son as the ability to accomplish in golf, the Mannings don't in football.

Tiger's dominance over his own sport has not been matched by either of the Mannings in theirs.  Sure, the Manning boys are great and will continue to have wonderful careers.  But within the history of their sport, they will not make as significant a contribution as Tiger will with golf.
