  1. Noooo. No no.

  2. Almost certainly. If it was a long ways aways they might as well tell so that people can prepare. Plus it would be impossible to keep a secret like that for very long.  If some sort of small asteroid "snuck up" on us and there was only a few days warning, they would still want to tell. There would be panic, sure, but some folks could prepare..and there'd be a lot more panic if something struck with no warning. Plus other countries need to know so tat they don't think it's a nuclear weapon going off and get all trigger happy themselves.

So, yes, they would. I it was going to hit something like NYC or Washington with little warning, they might delay the news a few hours to hopefully get key people to safety, but the news would get out pretty quick as soon as they started doing that.

    I vote yes.

  3. The answer to that is yes, in fact 'they' already have.

I trust that you find this of interest.

  4. THEY would probably run off to save themselves in the caves in the mountains kept especially for THEM & forget all about poor us. Don't you worry, there is a better place waiting for us.

  5. nope, they don't want us to panic. and start killing ourselves

  6. If it were big enough to destory the world and everyone on it what would be the purpose in telling us. You could run but there would be no place to hide.

RR I really got a kick out of your answer, it really gave me a good laugh.

  7. Nope they would just increase the price of gas and food.........oh dear!

  8. If it were big enough to wipe out civilization I would prefer not to know. In the case of a smaller one yes I would want to know as most of us would all have a reasonable chance.
