Question:

Asthma/Allergic reaction to secondhand smoke in apartment complex.. what can I do?

My BF and I have already had to move apartments once due to smoke "bleeding" in through our piping/exhaust/wall that was once a door. The first night, the new apartment was fine (same complex), but then someone moved in next door the next night. The smoke once again became a problem. Our clothes smell horrible, we have headaches, allergies all the time... and we both have asthma. My lungs are bothering me even when I'm NOT there now.

First off, what should I do in this situation? We have a limited income and we needed a place without a lease... this is the only thing we could find. Is this legal? Safe?

What can I do to ease the awful feeling with my lungs? They are bothering me almost constantly now - kind of reminds me of bronchitis without all the coughing.

Thanks in advance :(.

  1. You need to get the air quality tested inside your new apartment.

If in case the air quality was fine then both, You and your husband need to get this oriental therapy known as " Seifukujutsu ".

I am sure everything will turn out fine.
