Asthma Question! please help?

ok, I have Asthma I was just wondering I can take advil pills for running nose if I have Asthma (I don't have Asthma right now but can I take medicine)?

  1. call your local pharmacy,such as rite aid or walgreens(they are usually opened 24 hours)and they can tell you if they are safe to take  


  2. Advil is somehow related to aspirin (in the same class or with the same derivatives) and should not be taken when having any problems with asthma and can even stimulate an asthma attack.  However, if you are not currently having any asthma related symptoms than you can probably take it without problem.  But even better for a runny nose is some allergy/cold medicine like claritin or sudafed.  

  3. Check with your doctor and pharmacist, but an amazing medicine for asthma is Singulair.  My symptoms all but disapeared once I began taking it.  It's been a miracle for me.  I'd look into it
