Asthmatic wife ambu bag?

My wife is a sever asthmatic and has just got out of hospitail where she went into respiartory arrest twice. The nurse has give us an ambu bag to keep at home and use if she needs its. My wife often makes me pratice rescue breathing on her so that i know what to do when she needs it and now she wants me to pratice using the ambu bag on her too. Has anyone else done this before???

I have gone to the hospital twice with asthma related problems.  Stayed for a week one time. If you were given something to use at home for an emergency I say " good for you."   Practice makes perfect and I think you two are doing the right thing.  To the husband, I admire you for getting in there and taking part in your wife's struggle.  You are awesome.  Keep it up!
