Astigmatism contacts?

So... I have astigmatism and I really would like contacts.

Are there anything different about ones for astigmatism and can you get them in different colours?

Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism, i honestly don't think they come in colors though, but google them.

Yes, you have to get special contacts, like Acuvue Advance or toric lenses for an astigmatism.  Yes, you can get them in colors.

I have those. I don't know about different colours, but there are 2 things that are different about them.

(I use acuvue)

so 1: there is a little line that before putting the contact in you have to make sure its aligned at a vertical axis. (don't worry, if you have any questions the optometrist will help you.

and 2: when cleaning them, you have to rub. on the bottle of cleaning solutions its says "no rub" but for astigmatism lenses you have to rub anyways (both sides), but don't worry its not that difficult.

so if you want to get the lenses, go for it, it  really helps! but I'm sure the 2 point I said is what the optometrist is also going to say to you, so just a heads up lol.
