Aston Villa Ashley Young hints at exit once again as Premier League season nears climax
Aston Villa winger and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ashley-Young-c6813 has gone on to drop another major hint, stating that he might be on his way out of Villa Park at the end of the season. The player currently has only one year left on his contract, but his refusal
to pen down an extension till the end of the season, paved way to countless rumours stating that he might soon be on his way out of the club. The player’s latest comments, if anything, just aid these rumours and there it is looking all the more likely that
Young might be set to play his last two games for the Villans.
The twenty five year old winger is reported to have said: “I’m an ambitious person who wants to win titles and leagues and cups and stuff. Hopefully, fingers crossed, I can do that”
“I think they say that players start to peak at 26 or 27 and I’m soon to be 26 so fingers crossed I can start peaking myself.
“I’ve been enjoying how things have been going for me.”
Ashley Young has quite easily been one of the best players, if not the best player is the Villa camp this season. While most players have found it hard to adapt to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gerard-c14664 Houllier’s style of management, Young has flourished under it.
Despite having finished in the top half of the table last season, Villa have just barely managed to confirm their survival in the Premier League this season. However, Young’s eight goals and nine assists, have helped aid that cause quite tremendously.
However, when asked whether he would be staying at Villa Park, the player could do very little to dim down the speculations, as all he had to say was: “Obviously, I want to be able to do well myself, do well for the club and get them higher than we are at
the moment.
“Fingers crossed I can continue not to be injured, keep going, keep doing what I’ve been doing and see it right through to the end of the season.”
With the player’s latest words, it seems like the like the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United should start readying their cheque books in order to officially launch bids for the player. With it now being more than apparent that Young is not going to
be staying at Villa any longer, it is now just a question of where he leaves the team for.
At the moment, the player is being valued at around fifteen million pounds, which seems to be more than an affordable price for both http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 and United – who are being hailed as the two favourites to land the player at the end of the season.
