Astra Hall tipped to prevail in £32 Bonus At 32Red.com Handicap
Astra Hall is tipped to succeed in the £32 Bonus At 32Red.com Handicap at Ffos Las in England on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. She will have to beat 11 other runners in order to get a cash prize of £1,617 in the end.
The going will be heavy in the 1 mile 4 furlong event, which is scheduled to start at 14:45 GMT. The track conditions will make things tricky and some runners might be withdrawn from the race.
However, the conditions will be ideal for Astra Hall, who is carrying the winning momentum right now. She does not have a lot of experience, but the bookmakers have got faith in her abilities. The punters should also not hesitate from risking money on her,
as she has got a solid chance of taking the top spot.
The three-year-old filly has participated in just four events and her performances at the start were not impressive at all. However, she improved with the passage of time and seems to be in good shape at the moment.
The Ralph Beckett’s trainee first came onto the scene in November 2011 and was priced 50 to 1 by the bookies back then. She struggled to match her rivals and finished ninth out of 11 runners.
Afterwards, the young filly was rested for a few months before making her first appearance in the 2012 season. She was expected to be a touch competitive back then, but disappointed her team with the lack of speed and stamina.
Things kept on moving in a negative direction for Halling’s daughter out of Star Precision, as she struggled to deliver a positive result in her third outing as well. She was given a starting price of 66 to 1 back then and finished eighth overall.
Despite a few lacklustre showings in the sport, Astra Hall’s trainer kept on working hard with her and did not lose faith at all. His efforts finally paid off positively, as the young runner managed to bring up her maiden victory in her most recent outing.
She was priced 4 to 1 back then and won by one and a half length.
The favourite runner will be partnered by seasoned jockey, Richard Hughes, who is one of the best in the business.
