  1. Astral projection is nothing more than a normal dream that can sometimes be controlled (aka "lucid dreaming").  You are not really leaving your body.


  2. Ever looked into lucid dreaming? If not, lucid basically just means "aware", it's when you know you are dreaming and have conscious control over it and can make your own decisions rather than the dream just playing out. Before you can astral project, I recommend learning how to do a WILD (wake induced lucid dream), the technique is similar and this will get you into the right mindset to astral project. To summarize what a WILD is, you set an alarm for 5 hours after you sleep and upon awakening, stay up for half an hour and do activities that get your logical mind working, then basically go back to bed and focus on the blackness behind your eyelids without ever breaking focus until your body falls asleep and your mind stays awake, after a while you will see colors/lights zooming by which overtime increase in brightness and once there long enough you'll enter a state where it feels like you are floating and everything is calm, at this point your body has fallen asleep and assuming you haven't broken your focus, you can choose to either enter a dream with full control, or imagine yourself floating out of your body to astral project, this may take several tries before getting it right.     The technique for astral projection is the same, but the end result is different depending on your intention and what you decide to do once you've passed the lights/imagery and your body is completely asleep. The best way to confirm if you really did astral project is to have someone confirm what you saw when you did it. If you saw what they saw, without actually have been there physically during that time, then you have successfully astral projected =)

One of the easiest ways is to lie comfortably in bed when you won't be disturbed, unplug the phone,  As you lay there feel and sense your enduring inner self and attempt to get to the foot of the bed.  Some folks have to work it, others can let or make the release happen quite easily.  Once you can stand there and see yourself you can go anywhere.  I dig the flying stuff.  I have often kept contact with distant lovers this way as my work would take me away for months at a time. Once it was so strong.  I was actually resting in a tent at the time, for me a comfy and secure spot to be.   That when I arrived at my lovers room she seen a ghost version of me.  It scared her momentarily  and then she knew it was me, so we had a date, sort of.  this is the self that exists pre birth, post death.   Don't be scared.  If you are gone and your body needs to pee it will get you back.   happy trails to you.....

Try subscribing to "Altered States" - I know it sounds like some kind burned out hippie drug site - it is not-  They have all the info you could ever want on A Proj and many many other things.  CES cranial electrical stimulation.- whole bunch more. The sub is a FREE - YES -FREE NEWSLETTER, or you czn just read their bulletins from their archives and they have a free catalog  that you can download -its about 24megs in size and has lots of fun things - some are very serious that will blow your mind.  A Proj is similar to "REMOTE VIEWING" which the CIA spent megabucks trying to develop - they claimed it was dropped - but it was not -just went into the BLACK PROJ section of the military budget.  In fact there are place that can teach you this stuff - search the web or better start at the above site..

    Maybe meditation, like you know how those yogis can slow their heartbeats right down to like be clinically dead through meditation? Its a powerful tool...

Astral travelling?  First memory of successful travel - 30 years ago at the age of nine. - moved towns - missed my grandmother terribly.  Started dreaming about visiting her house at night.  In my dreams, I noted certain things out of their usual places in her house - I would phone her the following day to confirm what i was seeing. Amazingly accurate.  It was then that I took notice of the way in which I would prepare for sleep and certain feelings that would result in 'visiting dreams" . I concluded the best way was to lie very still, staring at  a spot of light bulb (turned off of coarse) - anything to focus on. I would continue to concentrate and imagine myself getting closer and closer to the focal point. at this point I would feel incredibly physically relaxed and in a state of half sleep. I would think about my disired destination, still focusing on the focal point, and bam it would happen. waking with a jolt upon return, with vivid recollection of my journey.  It was probably another 10 years before I read an explanation for what it was that I had been experiencing.
