Astrophysics- how can I estimate the angular size of a granule and a supergranule as viewd from earth?

perhaps have a little  light block-er the relative size of earth that can be attached to your telescope that you use to view the sun.....like they use on SOHO, but smaller..... do you actually try to see them with YOUR equipment?.....
