  1. I am taking the ASVAB on Monday and have also been using the ASVAB for Dummies book.

Only study the subject that you struggle in and read through the rest. Personally I just read through the Electronics and Mechanics section, I have no interest in those, but wanted to at least have an idea.

I focused my energy on Math since that is my weak point.

And yes I've studied myself crazy, but I take it one day at a time.

I'm trying not to let the pressure get to me. I have to score a 65+ since I have a G.E.D. I only scored a 55 on the EST. I have so much weighing on this.

    GOOD LUCK.

  2. well to be honest, I didn't really even study and I still scored like an 80 I think, last I remember it was all computerized and multiple choice, just take a break for a day, relax and make sure you get enough sleep, it won't be to bad, and depending on what you are going for you might not need that high of a score, I'm trying to get into MI(military intelligence) and I had no problem with my score, good luck though

  3. first of all the asvab is not a difficult test. its mostly common sense.  just relax and do your best

  4. First of all the ASVAB is not common sense. It's not easy obviously, if you had any idea how many people fail it per day you'd be astonished lol. It's not impossible though if you're fresh out of high school it will benefit you though. I know I took it in high school scored a 80 once I actually enlisted 8 months down the road I scored a 70. It's basic knowledge not rocket science.
