  1. An 88 will pretty much get you any job offered and the higher the scores in the certain sections will be a "guide" for the job they think you'd be a good fit for. To be honest, try and contact people in the job fields that they suggest to you to see how they like their jobs and what they are doing with their training. I got a 92 and hated my job although it was easy and I got some great training, so it's what you make of it. Good luck.

  2. go to http://usmilitary.about.com/ and search there.  It's pretty in-depth about what jobs your ASVAB score will allow you to look into for each of the military branches

  3. The overall score is broken into 3 categories. IIIA is 50 and above, IIIB is 31-49, and IV is others. You scored an 88 which falls into the highest category IIIA qualifying you for more high tech jobs, bonuses, and the College Fund in some branches. Your individual line scores are used to show what jobs you have a potential to succeed in. Again, most high tech jobs require a 110 or above where you scored 123+. The military is a great choice and I look forward to serving with you. Currently 17 years active Army, 3 years until retirement!!!

  4. Lol, no joke, I got an 88 as well. Basically, it means you are open to just about every job except one or two.
