  1. Definitely - youth clubs, tennis clubs etc

  2. yep. europe has a very relaxed system when dealing with alcohol and minors. last year i went to france with a group and kids were going into bars (i don't remember clubs tho) and buying alcohol all the time.

  3. swear you've asked this before.

  4. The legal age for the purchase of wine and beer is 16 but I rarely see people being checked for ID.

That is the legal age to PURCHASE wine and beer and NOT to DRINK it. There is no minimum legal drinking age as there is in many other countries.

That being said, whether you will be admitted to a club has more to do with how you act and present yourself than anything else and clubs set their own standards. At several bars that I frequent they have no interest in serving teenagers and will simply refuse them service.

EDIT@tempofinax Given that every cafe and every restaurant serves alcohol its obvious that there is no general prohibition on under 18 year olds going into establishments serving alcohol or if, there is, no one pays the slightest attention to it.

  5. In France, you must be 18 to enter any premises where alcohol is served. If you look 18, it is possible that nobody will check your ID but if there is a police check, the club owner might be fined or worse, the club might be closed.
