  1. about 98.56 feet.

  2. 98.56 feet.

  3. It will cover approximately 0.0187 miles. All you have to do is divide 42 by 3600 and multiply that number by 1.6. It would be about 32.85 yards or 98.56 feet. About 30.04 metres or 0.03 kilometres.

  4. .0186 miles

I use metric so i dunno how many yards or inches that is.

EDIT: Just used an online converter and it is 32.736 yards or 98.56 feet.

To Answer your question, Im sure this would be a pretty good way of pleading your case :)

  5. i took a calculator and divided 42 by 60 giving me the distance covered per minute, which turns out to be 7tenths of a mile a minute.  i then took that and divided it by 60 again which gives me the distance covered per second which turned out to be 1.1 2/3 a tenth of a mile per second or 0.116666..... then i multiplied that by 1.6 to find out how much distance you traveled at 42 miles an hour and i calculated that to be 1.8 2/3 tenths or 0.186666.... converted to feet that turns out to be 985.6   if anybody finds a flaw in my calculations please let me know
