I am now 6 weeks and 1 day pregnant. 4 days ago I had to go to the hospital with cramping (no bleeding). I had a scan 3 days ago and there was an empty sac. The sonographer said this was normal as I was not yet 6 weeks. My hormone level at 5 weeks was 2149 and at 6 weeks was nearly 16000. Does this sound OK? I am only panicking as I have had 2 failed pregnancies (1 molar pregnancy and 1 missed miscarriage)

  1. At 6 weeks you typically see a fetal pole and heartbeat. The HCG level needs to double every 48 hours.
