At Airports.............?

Question

Im thinking of going to an airport tomorrow and going on a flight somewhere,but where would I buy the tickets,where everyone else checks in or at a seperate desk?

You can check availability (and prices) online before heading to the airport.  While you can purchase tickets at the counter on the day of travel, as another poster mentioned they will be expensive.  I would also suggest booking at least a couple of hours before you intend to travel for a couple of reasons.  The first being that ticket counters tend to get pretty busy with folks checking in.  The second is that buying a ticket on the day of travel at the airport is a textbook way to get a secondary security screening, so you should plan to spend some extra time at the checkpoint.
