Question:

At Birmingham Airport will i be able to have tablets in my hand luggage or are they still strict about this?

i do not want to put my tablets in my suitcase because if my suitcase is lost i be missing my tablets i have to take everyday

  1. Taken from the London-Luton Airport FAQ website page:

    Q: Can we take all of the tablets in our hand luggage or must they go in the hold luggage?

    A: You will be allowed to take all of your tablets with you, in your hand luggage. As with other medicines it should be properly marked with a professionally printed label identifying the medication and manufacturer's name or pharmaceutical label.


  2. Tablets are no problem at all - only liquid medicines and those requiring syringes/sharp needles need an accompanying GP letter.

  3. medication can go in your hand luggage - when i flew i just got a letter from my doctor saying i needed the medication. i kept it all in one of those plastic bags together with the letter. the Gp may charge you for the letter though
